Santos drew with Once Caldas in a chilly São Paulo to reach the last four of the Copa Libertadores. Neymar, once again, was the star of the show; he scored the goal in the 1-1 draw (which classified Santos 2-1 on aggregate) and was a constant outlet for Santos down the left hand side of the field. He also won a penalty which he subsequently took and missed, continuing his dismal penalty record over the last twelve or so months (he has missed about ten in this period. No exaggeration). Santos will play either Jaguares (Mexico) or Cerro Porteí±o (Paraguay) in the semi-final.
The Brazilian Cup is also at the semi-final stage and in the first leg games Vasco were held at home by Avaí (1-1) while Ceará could only draw 0-0 at home to the in-form Coritiba. The second legs will be played next week.
